Artificial Intelligence for SMEs

Who among us has not recently heard about the rise of artificial intelligence? If nothing else, the name ChatGPT and its use around the world have probably caught the eye. But what other opportunities can artificial intelligence offer companies? Not all functions are related only to data and text creation.

In December 2023, the project AI for SMEs (Artificial Intelligence for small and medium-sized enterprises) began. Its purpose is to deliver to small and medium-sized enterprises the knowledge needed to use artificial intelligence.

Surveys conducted among entrepreneurs show that awareness of how to make artificial intelligence tools work to one’s advantage is low. Since the field is developing very rapidly, even the surveys on the use of artificial intelligence carried out in the preparatory phase of the project are no longer up to date. For this reason, in the first phase of the project, the aim is to collect the most up-to-date information on the fields of application of artificial intelligence. Based on this information, training models will be developed, with references to different possible uses and recommendations on how to keep pace with developments.

Project duration: December 2023 - October 2026

Project budget: 400,000 €

Project partners: lead partner Hanse Parlament (Germany), Vilnius Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts (Lithuania), Poznan Chamber of Crafts (Poland), Hungarian Association of Craftmen’s Corporations (Hungary), Stiftung Mittelstand Gesellschaft Verantwortung (Germany).

The project is co-financed from European Union funds.
