EcoSMEnergy: Elevating Small Business Energy Efficiency
The EcoSMEnergy project provides a holistic solution to help SMEs in selected NACE sectors – including chemicals (C20), pharmaceuticals (C21), rubber and plastics (C22), metal products (C25), electronics (C26), electrical equipment (C27), machinery (C28), and automotive manufacturing (C29) – tackle energy challenges and achieve measurable gains in efficiency and sustainability, in line with EU energy-efficiency directives and the clean-energy transition.
EcoSMEnergy’s primary objective is to improve energy efficiency and sustainability in these sectors through a broad set of activities that address low awareness and motivation, efficiency gaps, and limited access to financing.
Through this project, companies can benefit from:
- Complimentary access to a web-based Energy Management System (EnMS) to monitor and optimize energy use.
- Free services on the IMPAWATT platform – energy-efficiency monitoring, learning resources, practical optimization guidance, and more.
- Up-to-date information on energy-saving technologies and solutions to support cost-effective decisions.
- Training, including hands-on support for adopting the web-based EnMS.
- Guidance on available grants and EU directives, plus assistance with compliance to strengthen credibility.
- Free energy audits to assess current consumption and identify improvements.
- Collaboration opportunities, including networking and knowledge-sharing with other companies and stakeholders.
