Easy Energy
Easy Energy (Easy Energy Efficiency solutions for public buildings and small companies in the Baltic Sea Region) project’s purpose is to increase the energy and resource efficiency of public and commercial buildings.
Project duration: 01 November 2023-31 October 2026 (36 months)
Many public buildings in the Baltic Sea region, and especially micro and small enterprises, have not yet implemented energy efficiency measures. One reason is that the energy audits offered are costly and time-consuming and ultimately recommend technical measures that, although extremely useful, pay off over many years. Local governments with a large number of buildings and SMEs do not have financial reserves to invest in this area.
Project activities:
- Guiding local governments and companies on how to reduce energy consumption in existing buildings through simple and inexpensive measures, such as insulation and the use of water and electricity.
- Training energy practitioners so that in the future they can advise on low-tech energy-efficient solutions.
