Business Opportunities In Nigeria: Launch of The Nigeria-Baltic Business HUB

On 5 November, a business networking event will take place to mark the launch of the Nigeria-Baltic Business Hub and introduce participants to the business environment and cooperation opportunities in Nigeria and West Africa. The event is organised in cooperation with the Central and Eastern Europe and West Africa Business Association CEEWABA.

Africa offers growing business opportunities for Estonian companies. Nigeria, Africa’s most populous country and one of the continent’s largest economies, serves as an important gateway to the West African market. Estonian companies have particular strengths in digital solutions and e-governance, while promising opportunities are also emerging in renewable energy, agriculture, food production and the timber industry.

The Nigeria-Baltic Business Hub aims to connect businesses from the Baltic states and Nigeria, foster business cooperation, and help companies explore opportunities and establish a presence in Nigeria and the wider West African market. The event welcomes entrepreneurs of Nigerian origin operating in the EU and the United Kingdom, as well as representatives of Nigerian diplomatic missions.

The event is intended for Estonian companies and organisations seeking an introduction to business opportunities in Nigeria and West Africa, looking to establish new contacts, or interested in exploring export, import and investment opportunities with Nigerian partners.

The event theme is “Digital Corridors: From the Baltic Tech Frontier to Africa’s Growth Engine.” The programme includes welcome remarks, an address by the Ambassador of Nigeria, an introduction to the Nigeria-Baltic Business Hub, and a panel discussion. The event will conclude with a networking session designed to help Estonian businesses connect with potential partners and explore opportunities for cooperation.
