Contact Visit to Shanghai

Shanghai is one of the most important and lively business areas in China. This is a global financial and transport centre – home to one of the largest ports in the world. That is why Shanghai is one of the important gateways to goods exported to China as well as a great destination from where to start finding partners for your company in order to enter the Chinese market.

The focus of restructuring the Chinese business environment is on increasing the domestic consumption. Trends such as urbanization, increasing of income, wider middle class and increased environmental and health awareness have a strong impact on the consumption opportunities and habits of the Chinese and create the need for new products and services. The fact that environmental pollution is a great problem in China gives Estonia an opportunity to market its clean environment and products (e.g. food, beverages, food additives, medicines, beauty products, children’s goods) in China.

The contact visit will take place from 6 June to 11 June. The Chamber’s cooperation partner for the contact visit to China is Enterprise Estonia (EAS).
