Young Entrepreneur of the Year is Rait Rebane
At the Estonian Best Enterprises Awards Gala, the Young Entrepreneur Award—granted by the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and LHV Bank—was presented to Rait Rebane, CEO and one of the two owners of K-Print OÜ.
This year's competition for Young Entrepreneur of the Year was once again fierce, with nominees including Marten Merdikes (Auroom), Rait Rebane (K-Print), and Pätris Halapuu (CrystalSpace).
"Rait Rebane is a young leader who is smartly steering Estonia’s printing industry into a new era. The rapid and determined growth of K-Print in export markets, as well as the recent 'Factory of the Year' recognition, confirm that alongside strong ambition, he also delivers results,” said Mait Palts, Director General of the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He thanked all the enterprising young nominees and added that their dedication and work have not gone unnoticed.
Indrek Nuume, Head of Corporate Banking at LHV, said: “The strength of Estonian businesses lies in a vision that extends beyond the domestic market. Young people have the energy to bring that vision to life. This is something we deeply care about, and it's a privilege to support young entrepreneurs on their journey!”
The 2025 Young Entrepreneur of the Year is 35-year-old Rait Rebane, CEO and co-owner of K-Print OÜ—an international printing and packaging company that offers a full turnkey service to clients, from design and production to packaging and logistics.
Rait is a dynamic leader who embraces risk and actively contributes to the development of his professional community. Under his leadership, K-Print is expanding into international markets and earlier this year won the Factory of the Year title in the small and medium-sized enterprises category.
He is two years older than the company he leads and has set bold goals for himself and for the business. Over the next 3–5 years, K-Print aims to double in size and plans to build a new production facility, as the rapidly growing print house is currently struggling with space constraints.
The award jury included Mait Palts (Director General of the Chamber), Indrek Nuume (Head of Corporate Banking at LHV), Kaspar Oja (Economic Adviser to the President of Estonia), Anne Samlik (CEO of Estravel), and Silver Pütsep, last year’s award winner.
The €5,000 Young Entrepreneur Award sponsored by LHV Bank was presented for the 11th time. The competition is organized by the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and LHV, with the support of the President of Estonia, Alar Karis.
