Information and Networking Event vol 2: Supporting the Belarusian Business Community in Exile
We are pleased to invite you to the 2nd edition of Online Networking Event on 3 October 2025, organised as part of the Belarusian Diaspora Initiative (BDI), a project funded by the European Union (EU) and implemented by a consortium that includes our organisation. Event is held in English.

About the online matchmaking event
One of the core goals of the BDI project is to foster meaningful connections between Belarusian shareholders in exile and potential business partners across the EU. This event offers a unique opportunity to:
Join the info session and gain insights into the BDI project, including the Hosting Mentorship Programme.
The Hosting Mentorship Programme will offer 50 one-month exchanges between Belarusian businesses in exile and experienced EU entities. Through personalised guidance and knowledge transfer, the programme aims to strengthen the capacity, competitiveness, and integration of Belarusian entrepreneurs within the EU business ecosystem.
Schedule one-to-one meetings and build valuable relationships with fellow Belarusian shareholders and European partners that could lead to future collaborations.

Who can participate?
Businesses with shareholders, individual entrepreneurs, or start-ups who have relocated from Belarus to an EU member state and are unaffiliated with the Belarusian and Russian governments.
EU businesses interested in potential collaboration opportunities.
Business support organisations interested in the topics covered by the project and are unaffiliated with the Belarusian and Russian governments.

About the project:
The BDI project is focused on supporting businesses with Belarusian shareholders in the EU, particularly those who were forced to leave Belarus due to government persecution, opposition to political decisions, violations of human rights, and the regime’s support for Russia’s aggression against Ukraine.
Launched in January 2025, the project will run until the end of 2027, offering participants a wide range of activities.
