Mait Palts is the Director General of the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He joined the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in 2002 initially as a lawyer and then continued as the Head of the Policy Formation and Legal Department. In 2011 he was appointed to the position of the Director General. Mait has many years of experience in dealing with entrepreneurs, and he has a comprehensive overview of the problems that most of the Estonian businesses have.
In addition to organizational issues of the Chamber and legal counseling of member companies, he also participates actively in different boards to represent the interest of Estonian entrepreneurs and to help to create a business-friendly the environment in Estonia.
Mait has an MA degree from the Institute of Law, University of Tartu, Estonia.
