Edward Meck
Edward Meck is a Zimbabwean national and is the Team Leader of the Freight Forwarding Team at the United Nations Procurement Division, New York. He has 32 years of Procurement experience in both the private and public Sectors. He has worked for the UN Common System for a total period 18 years at the UNHQ, New York and the International Atomic Energy Agecy in Vienna, Austria. Edward has also been a Senior Buyer at Anglo American Zimbabwe. He has an MBA in Strategic Procurement Management from the University of Birmingham, UK, a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of South Africa with a major in Transport Economics & Logistics management and Business Management. Edward also has a graduate Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS), UK and was admitted as a Member in 2004. In addition Edward was also admitted as a Chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transportation ICILT) and is a member of the Association for supply Chain Management (ASCM).
