Robert-Jan Verwaal
Robert-Jan is a Belgian born and Dutch based Corporate Recruiter and HR Cultural Diversity Specialist, with an Master Business Communication degree from Radboud University in Nijmegen. He has been working in recruitment for over 13 years and has gained in-depth experience within both an agency and corporate environments. Recently he started his own Multicultural Diversity and Recruitment consultancy company.
He has worked for many corporate companies like: Vodafone, T-Mobile, Unilever and Philips. Robert-Jan was also a frequent speaker at the National Career Event to educate companies on promoting, hiring and managing multicultural employees. With the increasing and ongoing globalisation he is convinced that companies, directors and managers need to be even more aware of the challenges and big benefits of multicultural teams. Robert-Jan believes a well managed cultural diverse team will surely outperform a monocultural team.
